About the Customer
St. Clair Rubber’s Marysville plant was built as Athol Manufacturing Company in 1919 (Jackson). The St Clair Rubber company purchased the Marysville plant in 1923 (Jackson). St. Clair Rubber produced a variety of rubber products and adhesives.
St. Clair Rubber was located on Michigan Ave in Marysville, just south of the railroad crossing. The spur to the Gar Wood plant split off of the St. Clair Rubber siding.
