About the Customer

Michigan Elevator Exchange (MEE) was a grain elevator located in Marysville. In 1949 it had a storage capacity of 400,000 bushels of grain and 20,000 bags of beans (according to information given in a legal complaint against the PH&D, GTW, C&O and others over rates).

MEE was located in the Dow complex on the south side of Marysville. The silos from the elevator still stand today although the site belongs to a trucking company.
